Construction completed
Refers to network distribution areas in which domestic connections have already been installed. Completion of construction does not yet mean the network is operational, as work may still be required on the upstream network. Operational (sub-)areas will be published separately upon completion.
Operational
The relevant network distribution area has been approved by the City of Chemnitz. This means that both the civil engineering works and the installation of the fibre-optic cables up to the fibre-optic termination point have been completed. The next stage involves the installation of the in-building fibre-optic cabling by contractors commissioned by eins energie in sachsen GmbH & Co. This may take several weeks. Individual customer activations are possible at any time once the roll-out of network level 4 has been completed for the relevant address.
