Young environmentalists watch out!
Environmental Award of the City of Chemnitz 2017 announced
The city of Chemnitz has announced the annual environmental prize for children and young people for 2017.
Chemnitz children and young people of practically all age groups up to the age of 20 can now apply with their individual, group, class or school projects.
Once again in 2017, attractive prizes in several age categories, gifts and a great awards ceremony await.
With the Environmental Award, the City of Chemnitz's environmental department would like to encourage children and young people to engage with topics that play an increasingly important role in our future.
Children and young people can acquire knowledge and develop their creativity and initiative. The environmental prize is awarded annually on the occasion of "Environment Day" in June.
Posters with the most important information have now been sent to schools, kindergartens and many youth centres. These will then be publicly displayed in the facilities so that everyone can find out about the conditions of participation.

The application deadline for the Chemnitz Environmental Award 2017 is 15 April 2017.
