Tonnage restriction for Matthesstrasse and Schloßteichstrasse

During the preparatory investigations for the future opening of the Pleißenbach, the three structures of the Pleißenbach superstructure in the area from Leipziger Straße to the confluence with the Schloßteich were also examined (structural recalculation).
In order to protect the structure until the construction work is completed, the maximum permissible weight of vehicles will be restricted. This will be signposted in the following sections from week 44:
- Matthesstraße between Leipziger Straße and Bergstraße - restriction to 6 tonnes gross vehicle weight in both directions
- Schloßteichstraße between Bergstraße and Hechlerstraße - restriction to 10 tonnes axle load in both directions
