The suspicion of bird flu at Chemnitz Zoo (see press release 65) has been confirmed following investigations by the Federal Research Institute for Animal Health (Friedrich Löffler Institute). The city has published an official announcement on this at https://www.chemnitz.de/vogelgrippe.
