Still looking for 25 candidates for the honorary position of juvenile lay assessor

Application deadline extended until 15 May 2013

The City of Chemnitz is currently still looking for 25 interested citizens for the honorary position of youth lay judge in the juvenile criminal court for the 2014 to 2018 term of office and has therefore extended the application deadline until 15 May 2013.

Those interested in the honorary position of lay assessor should have experience in youth education, i.e. have raised their own children, have worked with young people in the field of education/training or as a trainer/exercise leader and be a resident of the city of Chemnitz. The election of lay judges and youth lay judges is based on nomination lists to be adopted by the Youth Welfare Committee in June 2013.
Chemnitz is looking for a total of almost 290 applicants for the honorary position of juvenile lay assessor, and the city has already received over 260 applications.
