A new construction phase of the four-lane expansion of Zschopauer Straße begins tomorrow, Tuesday (23 October) . Road users please note that with the start of the new construction phase on Zschopauer Straße, traffic will also be diverted to the completed temporary roadworks tomorrow (Tuesday 23 October).

At the same time, this turnaround will create construction clearance over a length of around 520 metres from the Südring for the further work to be carried out. On the future carriageway for the traffic that will later flow towards the land here, the land-side traffic facilities, including all new media, the footpath and cycle path as well as the planned noise barriers, will be completely removed.
Road users and residents should also note that during this next construction phase, Richterweg will be closed off from Zschopauer Straße.

A construction period until 30 June 2013 is planned for this current construction phase from 23 October 2012.
The four-lane B174 is scheduled to be opened to traffic on 30 November 2014. Construction of the entire project is scheduled to end in February 2015.
