The 13th Werkkunstmarkt, a sales exhibition for handicrafts and design, is being held at the Klaffenbach moated castle this weekend. There will be 43 artisans and designers taking part.

Premiere of the world premiere of "The Mermaid's Shoes", object theatre by Katy Deville and Christian Carrignon for children aged six and over, freely adapted from Hans Christian Andersen. The authors are also responsible for the direction and set design. Information: www.theater-chemnitz.de

Premiere of the world premiere of the ballet "The Snow Queen" by Reiner Feistel, who is also responsible for the choreography and staging.
