Mayor Barbara Ludwig takes part in the traditional commemorative event organised by the City of Chemnitz to mark the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp. Pupils from Agricola-Gymnasium will be part of the programme.

A commemorative plaque for city councillors who were victims of National Socialism between 1933 and 1945 will be unveiled at a ceremony in the New Town Hall.
