Lord Mayor Sven Schulze takes part in the awarding of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany to Renate Aris and Fred Richter.

Mayor Sven Schulze lays a wreath at the memorial to the victims of the bombing of the city of Chemnitz to mark the Chemnitz Peace Day. The mayor and the mayors will also take part in the commemoration ceremony.

Lord Mayor Sven Schulze takes part in the award ceremony for the 2026 Peace Prize, which is jointly awarded by the FUER CHEMNITZ e. V. citizens' association and the City of Chemnitz's migration officer, Etelka Kobuß. Dina Norberger, Children and Youth Commissioner of the City of Chemnitz, will give a welcome speech at the award ceremony.
