Sauna in the Stadtbad opens today (2 October) at 12 noon
Good news from the Stadtbad Chemnitz: The sauna in the facility, which was reopened to bathers yesterday after additional renovation measures became necessary (PM 578 from 26/09/2012), can now resume regular operation today, Tuesday, from 12 noon. The Sports Office asks sauna guests for their understanding for the delay in the opening, which became necessary at short notice yesterday, and now cordially invites you to visit the sauna in the municipal pool.
The sauna had to remain closed yesterday (PM 591 from 01.10.2012). The reason for this was a non-compliant water sample that had been taken in all areas of the facility by the city's responsible health department before the regular start of bathing operations in the Stadtbad.
Following the inspection carried out today by the health authority, the sauna in the municipal swimming pool can now also open.
Opening hours of the sauna in the Chemnitz municipal swimming pool:
Monday: 1 to 10 p.m. Community sauna
Tuesday: 9 am to 10 pm women's sauna
Wednesday: 9 am to 1 pm men's sauna, 9 am to 1 pm women's sauna, 1 pm to 10 pm communal sauna
Thursday and Friday: 9 am to 10 pm communal sauna
Saturday and Sunday: 9 am to 4 pm communal sauna.
