Reading rooms of the city archive closed over Christmas
The reading rooms of the Chemnitz City Archive, Aue 16, and the branch office, Reichsstraße 1a, will be closed from Monday, 20 December to Friday, 31 December. Enquiries can be sent by email to stadtarchiv(at)stadt-chemnitz.de
The reading rooms will be open again from Monday, 3 January 2022.
They can currently be used by booking an appointment for a maximum of two visitors at a time on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.
Bookings can be made by telephone or e-mail.
It is compulsory to wear a medical face mask.
