Mayor Berthold Brehm opens the 19th Chemnitz City Festival.
Time and place: 7 pm, Markt stage.
This year, from 30 August to 1 September 2013, the city festival invites you to visit nine themed areas in the city centre. A city festival beer will be brewed for the first time. Also new is the "Chemnitz Summer" with a harvest festival and wine festival as well as the Chemnitz Music Garden.
