Paediatric and adolescent consultation hours start
Office for Health and Prevention: Appointments can now be booked online
From now on, appointments are available every Thursday at the paediatric and adolescent medical service for the following concerns:
- Suspension of compulsory schooling
- Special educational needs
- School refusal and
- Increased number of days absent
Appointments can be booked online. Consultation hours take place from 2 to 4 pm.
The parents concerned are asked to contact their school or the education authority before booking an appointment to clarify the further procedure.
Appointments are also available on Thursdays between 4 and 5.30 p.m. for a new general medical consultation for young people. It is possible to seek advice from the paediatric and youth medical service on all issues, including the implementation of the Measles Protection Act.
From 25 October 2024, the Office for Health and Prevention will offer measles vaccinations for children and young people on the last Friday of every month. General vaccination advice is also available.
