New member sought for Foreigners' Advisory Council

A new member is being sought to join the Foreigners' Advisory Council of the City of Chemnitz. Since its appointment ten years ago, the committee has been committed to the interests of citizens with a migration background and at the same time to promoting tolerant coexistence among all citizens living in Chemnitz. Due to her relocation, Mrs Erika Dressel has resigned as a member of the Foreigners' Advisory Council and a replacement is required. (The advertisement will be published in the official gazette of the City of Chemnitz in today's edition of 8 August 2012).
