Naming of streets and residential developments decided
At its meeting today, the city council decided to name the new private ring road in Einsiedel "Ostheimsiedlung", following the suggestion of the Einsiedel local council.
The name Ostheim refers to the geographical location of the neighbourhood in Einsiedel.
The ring road that receives this name will provide access to all properties in the new residential area "Wohnpark Anton-Herrmann-Straße". The new residential area will be accessed from Anton-Herrmann-Straße.
The city council also decided today to extend the area of Neukirchner Straße in the Stelzendorf district. Homes will be built on newly created plots, which will be accessed and connected via the existing Neukirchner Straße. The access road to the new residential area will therefore also be named Neukirchner Straße.
The city council has also approved the development of three parcels of land in Borna as a residential area. The owner of the plots intends to build a housing estate with two semi-detached houses and nine detached houses there. The area covered by the development plan is included in the current residential development concept and is well suited for the intended purpose.
The plan area is located within an existing settlement area and is bordered by Auerswalder Strasse to the north-west. The gap that currently exists within the settlement strip between Bornaer Strasse and Auerswalder Strasse will thus be consolidated.
Access to the area is provided by the existing road, a connection between Bornaer Straße and Auerswalder Straße.
