Music café with concertmaster Hartmut Schill
The next edition of the music café DA CAPO - Music for Seniors will take place on Thursday, 1 November at 3 pm in the large hall of the Kraftwerk (Kaßbergstraße 36). This time, music school director Nancy Gibson's celebrity guest will be Hartmut Schill, first concertmaster of the Robert Schumann Philharmonic Orchestra. Hartmut Schill is no stranger to Chemnitz music lovers: The violin virtuoso has also been engaged for performances at the Bayreuth Festival, among others. In what is sure to be another exciting and informative chat between host Nancy Gibson and Hartmut Schill, your guests at the music café will once again learn lots of interesting facts about the first violin of the Robert Schumann Philharmonic Orchestra. Hartmut Schill will of course also perform well-known melodies.
Music lovers will enjoy an entertaining afternoon with coffee and cake, and the organisers hope to welcome a large number of guests once again. The entrance fee is €5 including coffee and cake. Wheelchair users please use the signposted side entrance.
