Members wanted for the Youth Culture Fund working group
Representatives of independent culture for the 2024 to 2029 electoral term can apply until 29 September
The City of Chemnitz's cultural organisation is looking for three committed representatives from the independent cultural sector who would like to volunteer as members of the Youth Culture Fund working group. Twice a year, the working group draws up the funding proposal for the Culture Committee from all applications submitted.
Requirements for the application:
- Willingness to attend approximately two meetings per year during the 2024 to 2029 electoral period,
- the applicant is a representative of independent culture.
Application procedure:
- Application forms can be downloaded from the Internet at https://www.chemnitz.de/chemnitz/de/kultur/kulturfoerderung/index.html or requested from the Cultural Affairs Department (Tel.: 488-4127, kulturmanagement(at)stadt-chemnitz.de).
- Applications can be sent using the application form by 29 September 2024 to kulturmanagement(at)stadt-chemnitz.de or by post to Kulturbetrieb, Abteilung Kulturmanagement, Moritzstraße 20, 09111 Chemnitz. (cut-off deadline)
The "Youth Culture Fund" working group consists of the following seven members
- A representative of the Youth Welfare Office or the Children and Youth Officer,
- the expert resident for youth culture of the cultural advisory board,
- the expert resident for socioculture of the cultural advisory board,
- one representative of the cultural organisation, and
- three representatives from the independent cultural sector.
The composition of the working group is based on the guidelines of the City of Chemnitz for the promotion of measures from the "Youth Culture Fund".
