Market information: Flea market

On Sunday, 21 October 2012 from 9 am to 3 pm, this year's last flea market will take place in Chemnitz city centre at the town hall. A wide range of old and second-hand goods will once again be available on site and "waiting" for potential buyers. As usual, a wide range of food and drink will be available for the physical well-being of junk dealers and market visitors.

It is not necessary for junk dealers to pre-register: anyone who wants to take part can simply turn up at the town hall at 7 a.m. on Sunday morning. The market master will collect the stall fee on site. A square metre costs 2.60 euros plus VAT. The Chemnitz Market Statutes apply to the event.
The first flea market in the new year will be held here again on Sunday, 17 March 2013 from9 am to 3 pm.

Supplements to the public ideas competition
Regarding the tender"Public ideas competition"published in the official gazette of the City of Chemnitz No. 37 of 12.09.2012, page 16, there are the following additions (highlighted here in bold): The City of Chemnitz intends to award the organisation and implementation of a spatially delimited section of the Chemnitz Christmas Market in the years 2013 to 2016 to an organiser. Item 1.2 Event times/opening times of the invitation to tender is supplemented by 27.11. to 23.12.2015, 25.11. to 23.12.2016. The documents must be submitted to the City of Chemnitz, Ordnungsamt, 09109 Chemnitz by 13.11.20112.
