Market information - Dates in March
Fair, Monday, 3 March: The monthly fair around Chemnitz Town Hall is on the market calendar on Monday, 3 March from 9 am to 5 pm. As usual, the traders will once again have an extensive range of goods on offer, and a wide selection of food and drink will also cater for the physical well-being of market visitors.
Weekly market open one hour longer from Thursday, 6 March: From Thursday , 6 March, the traders involved in the weekly market at Chemnitz Town Hall will be waiting for their customers for an extra hour: the weekly market will then be open from Tuesday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm.
Flea market, Sunday, 16 March: On Sunday, 16 March from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a flea market with a wide range of old and second-hand items will once again be held on the market at Chemnitz Town Hall. There will be a wide range of food and drink on offer to refresh junk dealers and visitors.
It is not necessary for junk dealers to register in advance. If you want to take part, simply turn up at the town hall on Sunday morning from 7 am. The market master will collect the stall fee on site. A square metre costs 2.60 euros plus VAT.
