Market information: Break for weekly market at the town hall
Weekly market at the Red Tower: From Tuesday, 20 November to Friday, 14 December (except on Wednesday, 21 November - the Day of Prayer and Repentance public holiday), the weekly market will continue in a smaller form at the Red Tower. and will be open as follows: from 20.11. to 30.11. - Tuesday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm and from 4.12. to 14.12. - Tuesday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm. There will be no weekly market on Saturday, 1 December and Saturday, 8 December.
Weekly markets in the city districts: The weekly markets in Georgstraße, Ernst-Enge-Straße and Dr.-Salvador-Allende-Straße will continue to welcome their customers at the usual market times.

Note on the Chemnitz Christmas market: The Chemnitz Christmas market around the town hall will open this year on Friday, 30 November at 4 pm - all information on this year's Christmas market will be provided at the press conference in the town hall on Tuesday, 13 November 2012 at 2 pm.
