Invitation to the photo session: "Johanneum" children and youth foundation receives donation of 3,333 euros for children and youth projects
Representatives of the media are hereby invited to a photo session tomorrow, Wednesday (16 January) at 3 pm: The occasion is the handover of a donation to the "Johanneum" Chemnitz Children and Youth Foundation in the amount of 3,333 euros for children and youth projects. The event will take place at the premises of Grundstücks- und Gebäudewirtschafts- Gesellschaft m.b.H, Clausstraße 10/12 in 09126 Chemnitz. The donation will be accepted here by GGG Managing Director Simone Kalew in her capacity as Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees of the Children and Youth Foundation, together with Heiko Zabel, Deputy Chairman of the Foundation's Board of Directors.
The donation was handed over by Eike-Jens König, Managing Director of the Magdeburg-based Röstfein company, which has been involved in numerous children's and youth projects between the Baltic Sea and the Thuringian Forest for many years and once again supported three organisations in 2013 with the sum of 3.333 euros each - one of which is the "Johanneum" children's and youth foundation in Chemnitz.
The independent municipal foundation uses the Johanneum Academy to introduce socially disadvantaged children to various educational programmes. In various project weeks, the Johanneum Academy offers themed weeks for children and young people on science and technology, health and medicine and nature and the environment.
