Invitation for young environmentalists
City of Chemnitz once again organises environmental award for children and young people - applications can be submitted to the Environmental Agency until April 2014
The city of Chemnitz has once again announced the environmental prize for children and young people. Chemnitz children and young people up to the age of 20 can apply with their individual, group, class or school projects. Applications can be submitted to the city's environmental department until 17 April 2014.
With this award, the Environment Agency is encouraging girls and boys to take care of the environment and learn about nature in the process. Of course, creativity and personal initiative are encouraged when it comes to dedicating themselves to specific environmental projects. The environmental prize is awarded every year in June on the occasion of Environment Day (5th June).
Entries are accepted at the Environmental Office, Annaberger Straße 93. The address for post is: City of Chemnitz, Environmental Office, 09106 Chemnitz. It is recommended that you use the postage-free deadline letterboxes at the town hall on the market square and at the Technical Town Hall.
