Intercultural Film Week from 4 to 10 October
On Monday, 4 October, the Intercultural Film Week will start under the motto "See diversity, feel diversity, experience diversity." Films of various genres will be shown on the topics of migration, flight, asylum, racism and discrimination, anti-Semitism, religions and much more.
The Intercultural Film Week was organised jointly by the City of Chemnitz and AGIUA e. V.. A different film is shown at different locations on each of the seven days. The films shed light on current intercultural topics from different perspectives:
Stories are told from Syria, Kurdistan, Turkey, the Spanish Basque country, Ukraine and Germany. The aim is to use the films shown to create a space for intercultural dialogue on current issues.

The event is co-financed by tax revenue on the basis of the budget approved by the Saxon state parliament and by the Local Action Plan for Democracy, Tolerance and a Cosmopolitan Chemnitz (LAP).
