Environmental award for young environmentalists - applications until 15 April
The deadline for submitting projects for the 2014 Environmental Prize, which is awarded annually in June on Environment Day, is 15 April 2014. Children and young people up to the age of 20 who live in Chemnitz, go to school or work in a working group in Chemnitz can apply. All schools and day-care centres in the city of Chemnitz received the call for entries in August 2013.
With the Environmental Award, the Environment Agency wants to encourage children and young people to engage with forward-looking topics. Children and young people can acquire knowledge and develop their creativity and initiative. The environmental prize is supported by CVAG, eins energie in sachsen GmbH und Co KG, Südsachsen Wasser GmbH and the waste management and city cleaning company of the city of Chemnitz.
