End of the outdoor pool season in the four municipal outdoor pools of the city of Chemnitz
Outdoor pool finale at the four municipal outdoor pools in the city of Chemnitz: After the Gablenz outdoor pool opened for the last time this season last Sunday (9 September) and the 2012 outdoor pool season officially ended at the four municipal pools on Monday, here is the final information with the visitor figures for the 2012 season.
During the outdoor pool season from 12 May up to and including 9 September 2012, a total of 75,937 visitors were counted in the four municipal outdoor pools in Bernsdorf, Gablenz, Einsiedel and Wittgensdorf (previous year: 68:136). Of which in the:
Bernsdorf outdoor pool: 19,772 visitors
Gablenz outdoor pool: 27,943 visitors
Einsiedel outdoor pool: 10,823 visitors
Wittgensdorf outdoor pool: 17,399 visitors.
The four municipal outdoor pools generated €186,487 in revenue this season, which is around 77% of the planned revenue. In comparison: in the previous year, income totalled € 160,372, which corresponded to around 68% of the planned income.
Anyone wishing to take advantage of the fine weather in the coming days for an open-air swim is welcome at the Rabenstein reservoir, which is still open throughout September.
