City of Chemnitz sets up donation account again
Report damage to the 115 citizens' hotline - hotline also coordinates the deployment of volunteers
Some of those affected by the floods of the past few days have fallen victim to the water for the third time in a short space of time after 2002 and 2010. The City of Chemnitz is therefore once again setting up an account into which the many helpful citizens who have already come forward can pay their donations.

The amount of damage caused by the floods is not yet clear. The survey is currently underway. Citizens can contact the city to report their respective damage, especially in residential areas. The city accepts information on damage by dialling 115. This is also possible by email to hochwasserhilfe@stadt-chemnitz.de.
Volunteers can also call the citizens' hotline. The same applies to people or organisations that need help with clean-up work, for example. The city will try to mediate here.
The citizens' hotline for flood-related questions will be open again on Wednesday from 8 am to 8 pm.
The CWE has set up a hotline for companies to call on 0371 3660222. The contact person is Silvia Kunce.
