Citizens can contact the mayor with their concerns by telephone or online. Registrations can be made on the same day between 3 and 3.30 pm by telephone on 0371 488 4444 or by email to d5(at)stadt-chemnitz.de .

Citizens have around 15 minutes to present their concerns to Ralph Burghart during the citizens' consultation hour. All matters that fall within the mayor's remit, i.e. issues relating to education, social affairs, youth, culture and sport, are discussed.
