"Chemnitz under the swastika"
Discussion with contemporary witnesses in the event hall of the Jewish Community, Stollberger Straße 28
Next Wednesday, 26 September at 6 pm, a discussion on the topic of "Chemnitz under the swastika" will take place in the event hall of the Jewish Community. Guests will include contemporary witness Marga Simon, honorary citizen of Chemnitz Justin Sonder and the son of Holocaust survivor Max Brudner, Hermann Brudner. The event will be moderated by Chemnitz journalist Michael Müller. Admission is free.
Chemnitz is celebrating its 875th anniversary this year. A joint project by the Chemnitz History Society, the Chemnitz Saxon Industrial Museum, the Schloßberg Museum, the Chemnitz State Museum of Archaeology and the Chemnitz City Archive entitled "875 years of history in twelve months" is honouring the city's history.
