Change of service provider for securing subsistence
On 20 May 2022, the Federal Council approved the new regulation of responsibilities for securing the livelihood of all Ukrainian refugees. Accordingly, all persons who have a fictitious certificate from the foreigners authority or a residence permit in accordance with Section 24 (1) of the Residence Act by 31 May 2022 and are unable to secure their own livelihood will switch to a new benefit provider.
From 1 June 2022, the following service providers will take over the provision of subsistence in accordance with the above-mentioned age limit:

To ensure that cash benefits can continue to be provided seamlessly, the benefit data for all persons who have received benefits from the Chemnitz Social Welfare Office in accordance with the AsylbLG by 31 May 2022 and meet the above-mentioned requirements will be transferred in close cooperation with the benefit providers.
If you have any queries regarding the receipt of benefits from 1 June 2022, please contact the new benefit provider.
For all persons who have not yet received a fictitious certificate or residence permit by 31 May 2022 or who only register in Chemnitz after 1 June 2022, the Social Welfare Office AsylbLG Ukraine, Bahnhofstraße 53, will remain responsible until a later change.
