Advice on transferring to a secondary school
Information event on 1 February, 5 p.m. via video conference
On Tuesday, 1 February, from 5 to 6 p.m., the Chemnitz City Education Authority, in cooperation with the Chemnitz State Office for Schools and Education and CVAG, is offering an information event for general questions about transferring to a secondary school. This will take place as a video conference.
Interested parents are cordially invited to attend. The access details are published at www.chemnitz.de/schulanmeldung.
On 11 February, pupils in year 4 will receive their educational recommendation for the transition to a secondary school. Parents can register their children at a secondary school or grammar school in the following three weeks.
"It is important to us that no question about school remains unanswered, even in these still challenging times. We are confident that we will be able to organise the upcoming events in the usual way, with all school facilities present," says Mayor Ralph Burghart.
