Short description:
The Chemnitz Food Council (Ernährungsrat Chemnitz e. V.) is an open alliance of various stakeholders who are engaged with the issues of healthy eating and food culture.
The association aims to strengthen regional food production across the entire value chain – from field to plate. The goal of good nutrition is to be embedded in the city’s guiding principles and strategies. Through educational programmes and public participation, citizens are educated and made more aware of the importance of healthy eating.
