At its most recent meeting, the City Council approved the subsequent utilisation concept for the former residual waste treatment plant (RABA) of the Chemnitz Waste Management Association (AWVC). The concept will be implemented under the leadership of the ASR. The city council's decision paved the way for a highly efficient biowaste fermentation plant for the proper utilisation of biowaste from the city of Chemnitz. Chemnitz is thus making a contribution to the regional heat and energy transition
