Lorem Ipsum is a simple demo text for the print and type industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the standard demo text in the industry since 1500, when an unknown writer took a handful of words and jumbled them together to create a specimen book. Not only has it survived 5 centuries, but it has also made it into electronic type editing (note, virtually unchanged). It became famous in 1960, with the release of "Letraset", which included passages from Lorem Ipsum, as did desktop software such as "Aldus PageMaker" - also with Lorem Ipsum.
Believe it or not, Lorem Ipsum is not just a random text. It has roots in Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richar McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virgnia examined some obscure words, "consectetur", of a Lorem Ipsum passage and found an irrefutable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 B.C. This book is a treatise on ethical theories, well known during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet...", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

It is a long proven fact that a reader is distracted from the text when looking at a layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it more or less represents the normal arrangement of letters and therefore looks like readable language. Many desktop publishers and web editors now use Lorem Ipsum as the default text, and an internet search for "lorem ipsum" will reveal many websites where it is still used. There are now several versions of Lorem Ipsum, some accidental, others deliberate (influenced by wit and personal taste)
There are many variations of the passages of Lorem Ipsum, but the main part has suffered changes in some form, through humour or random words that don't look even remotely believable. If you use a passage of Lorem Ipsum, you should be careful that there are no unwanted words in the middle of the text. Many of the generators on the Internet tend to repeat prefabricated pieces - which made it necessary to develop a real generator. We use a dictionary of over 200 Latin words, combined with a handful of artificial sentences that make the Lorem Ipsum believable.
