Bundestag election 2025: Election workers wanted!

The election to the 21st German Bundestag will take place on 23 February 2025.

To ensure that the election is conducted properly, an electoral board will be formed for each electoral district in the city of Chemnitz to ensure that voting runs smoothly and that votes are counted in the respective polling station on election Sunday. The polling stations are open for voting from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm on election day. The electoral boards will count the votes immediately afterwards.

The electoral authority is looking for citizens who would like to work on an electoral board. The aim is to deploy electoral assistants close to their homes. Poll workers receive a lump sum for their voluntary work on the electoral board.

If you would like to support us by working on an election committee, please send your declaration of willingness by post to
