Zoo announces offspring at the Kulanen and invites you to spring cleaning
In connection with the ASR campaign "For a clean Chemnitz", the zoo invites you to a spring clean in the zoo on Saturday, 12 April. The meeting point is 9 am in front of the zoo ticket office. Mayor Miko Runkel will be there to welcome the volunteers and the ASR and the zoo will be providing equipment for the spring clean.
The main aim is to clean the paths in the zoo and the car park on Nevoigtstraße. Of course, the hard-working helpers can take their time to look round the zoo after the work is done and take the opportunity to welcome the latest addition to the family, a female colt. It was born on 5 April. Mother and foal are doing well and can be observed in the herd of six.
