Zietenstraße receives row of trees and parking lane
On Zietenstraße between Augustusburger Straße and Pestalozzistraße
37 tree planting discs will be installed on both sides and longitudinal parking lanes will be drawn.
The preparatory civil engineering work will begin on Monday, 13 October
To this end, the kerbs will be changed in sections along the 420 metre long construction area. The construction work will be carried out in six sections. In the area between Pestalozzistraße and Sonnenstraße, the road will be closed on one side with traffic lights.
Between Augustusburger Straße and Sonnenstraße, a one-way street will be set up in the direction of Augustusburger Straße. Two-way traffic will be diverted from Augustusburger Straße via Schüffnerstraße and Sonnenstraße.
The investment volume amounts to 225,000 euros and is being financed by urban development funds from the federal government and the Free State of Saxony. The construction work should be completed by mid-December. The trees will be planted in spring 2015.
Faber Bau GmbH from Venusberg has been commissioned to carry out the work.
