You love your city. You can declare your love here. Write declarations of love, post statements, join in: DIE STADT BIN ICH: The homepage for the new communication concept was launched today. At www.die-stadt -bin-ich.de, all Chemnitz residents are now invited to submit their confessions, declarations of love, but also suggestions for improvements to their hometown or adopted city.

Over the past few days, almost 100 different confessions have been received even before the official launch of the homepage. From romantic declarations of love "Beloved, I have been connected to you all my life. Friendship turned into love", to profound connections "Apart from mum and dad, I've known no one as long as you - Chemnitz!" to statements such as "As a native Thuringian socialised in Leipzig's colourful world, Chemnitz seemed dull and grey to me at first. With every facet of the city that I got to know, this impression faded", Chemnitz residents gave free rein to their thoughts.

In addition to confessions, whether in words, pictures or videos, visitors to www.die-stadt-bin-ich.de and the Facebook page www.facebook.com/diestadtbinich will find articles about the "MACHER DER WOCHE", a photo blog - 1000 faces - as well as information on further steps for the new marketing and communication concept of the city of Chemnitz, such as Rock am Kopp.
