World Multiple Sclerosis Day 2024

On Monday, 27 May, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., those affected and their relatives are invited to an information event on multiple sclerosis (MS) at the Office for Health and Prevention, Am Rathaus 8, consultation room, room no. 434. The venue is easily accessible for wheelchair users.
On the occasion of World Multiple Sclerosis Day 2024 (on 30 May).On the occasion of World Multiple Sclerosis Day 2024 (on 30 May) under this year's title "Diagnosis MS: Learning to live with courage and strength", the MS Stammtisch self-help group has organised various lectures on the topic of MS in cooperation with the Office for Health and Prevention and with the support of the health insurance companies:
11 a.m. - Lecture and advice on current issues relating to the law on severe disabilities,
1 p.m. - Lecture on healthy, anti-inflammatory nutrition for MS,
2 p.m. - Lecture on diagnosis and therapy options for neurogenic bladder and bowel disorders.
There will also be an insight into the group work of the MS regulars' table, including a presentation of the activities for the 2024 annual plan.
Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune chronic inflammatory disease of the central nervous system that affects the brain and spinal cord and usually begins in early adulthood.
