During the winter holidays, from Monday, 17 February, Chemnitz Zoo will once again be offering short guided tours for young and old every day at 11 am. On Monday, the dwarf hippos will be on the agenda, followed by the spotted hyenas on Tuesday, 18 February.
The other guided tours can be enquired about at the ticket office or looked up at www.tierpark-chemnitz.de.
It's well worth a visit: with a bit of luck, the first cubs of the year can be spotted and the warm houses are a good place to go even in colder temperatures.
The Oberrabenstein Wildlife Park also offers the popular show feedings every day at 11 a.m. during the holidays: Mondays with the wolf, Tuesdays and Fridays with the mouflons, Wednesdays and Saturdays with the bison and Thursdays and Sundays with the wildcats.
