"Willkommen am Kopp" concert for Peace Day on 5 March Closure of Brückenstraße
To mark Peace Day on Sunday, 5 March 2017 from 3 pm to 5 pm, Chemnitzer Wirtschaftsförderungs- u. Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH is organising the "Willkommen am Kopp" concert at Karl-Marx-Kopf together with the Chemnitz Nazifrei alliance and the DGB Südwestsachsen. The rappers "Fatoni" and "BRKN" will be performing.
The event site is located on Brückenstraße, bordered by Straße der Nationen and Mühlenstraße. Brückenstraße will be completely closed in the direction of Mühlenstraße and Straße der Nationen next Sunday, 5 March 2017 from 12 noon until around 5.30 pm. Access to the Hotel Mercure is guaranteed via Theaterstraße.
The event will be secured by the Chemnitz police department with operational measures. The organiser is expecting around 1,000 visitors. Visitors to the event are requested to use the city centre car parks and public transport.
