On Tuesday, 20 May, from 5 to 6.30 p.m., interested parties are invited to the event "What to do in the heat? Tips for effective heat protection" at the TIETZ, room 4.62. The focus will be on heat protection, especially for older people. Participation is free of charge.

Climate manager Ulrike Krol will explain how you can protect yourself simply and effectively from the heat without sacrificing quality of life. The main aim is to correctly interpret the body's warning signs in order to apply practical tips for heat protection in everyday life.
Heat is on the rise in Germany and is one of the biggest health risks caused by climate change. High temperatures and heat waves can become a burden and a health hazard, especially for older people.
The event is a co-operation between KLUG - Deutsche Allianz Klimawandel und Gesundheit e. V. and the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre. It is co-financed by tax funds on the basis of the budget approved by the Saxon state parliament.
