What does your Chemnitz look like?
Kick-off event for the Chemnitz Strategy on 27 March, 5.30 pm at TIETZ
A car-free city centre ring road, green rooftops in the Heckert area or multi-generation flats in the Wandererwerke? What do the people of Chemnitz want for their city? The first ideas and wishes for the future up to 2040 will be collected at the Chemnitz Strategy kick-off event on Wednesday, 27 March from 5.30 pm in the foyer of the TIETZ, Moritzstraße 20. Interested Chemnitz residents are cordially invited to get involved. Admission is free.
The event will begin with a brief introduction, a look around and a welcome. Afterwards, participants can be in "3 places" at the same time, walk from the petrified forest to the "140-character forest" and get creative in the "Gallery of Designers". What exactly is hidden behind the three thinking stations will be revealed on site. But this much can be said: from drawing and thinking to discussing and counting, the citizens are the actors of the strategy. Because participation should be fun. Everyone is welcome. A small snack will be provided.
The aim of the event is to get into dialogue with the participants in an uncomplicated and relaxed atmosphere and to find out which topics and issues are particularly important for the future of Chemnitz. What will a good life in Chemnitz look like in the future? What are the key issues that will shape Chemnitz's urban development over the next 20 to 25 years? Where in the city is there a need for action? In short: What does your Chemnitz look like? Today - 2025 - 2040.
