The adult education centre invites you to a lecture on Wednesday, 24 April, 6.30 to 8 p.m., in course room 4.07 in the TIETZ, which deals with our clothing. Admission is free.
What kind of clothing is really needed? It is well known that textile production is one of the most unecological, unfair and globalised branches of industry. But what does that mean in detail? And is it possible to do something about it?
In the lecture, interested parties will find out what clothes are made of and how they are given the look they have in the wardrobe. The speaker will also talk about the conditions under which clothing is produced and what "100 per cent cotton" and "Made in Europe" really mean.
This event is a cooperation between FAIREwelt Chemnitz and the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre.
