What do the children want for their playground?
Ideas round today from 3.30 pm, Forststraße/Zeisigwald playground
Today, Tuesday 14 June, from 3.30 pm to around 5 pm, children and young people will meet with the City of Chemnitz's Children and Youth Officer, Ute Spindler, and the playground manager from the City of Chemnitz's Parks Department at the Forststraße/Zeisigwald playground in the Hilbersdorf district.
Representatives of the media are cordially invited.
The aim of the meeting is to find out the wishes and ideas of the young and old users of the playground. Children, young people, parents and interested parties can put forward their ideas and design suggestions in an informal discussion.
The Forststraße/Zeisigwald playground has been very well received and used for years. However, refurbishment will be necessary in the coming years. In addition to new play equipment, the fall protection surfaces and equipment (benches, litter bins, etc.) are to be renewed. In addition, the playground with its grass and wooded areas as well as the paths are to be checked and optimised if necessary.
