Weekly market moved to Am Wall area
Annual market on 1 August cancelled - flea market moved to the Rosenhof
Due to current events, there are changes to the markets in Chemnitz:
Weekly market
As of today, the Chemnitz weekly market can be found on the Am Wall site. This is necessary due to the set-up and dismantling and the organisation of the Hat Festival. The weekly market traders are expected to be able to move back to the area at the market from next Tuesday.
Funfair and flea market
The funfair around the town hall planned for 1 August will have to be cancelled. The area is required for the Chemnitz Wine Village, which takes place from 22 July to 14 August, due to the extended use of the space. Traders will be informed accordingly in writing.
For the same reason, the advertised flea market on 24 July will not take place at the market but at the Rosenhof.
