MDR weather expert Michaela Koschak at St George's Church in Chemnitz-Rabenstein, Georgenkirchweg1. In her book "Hitze, Flut und Tigermücke: (Fast) alles zum Klimawandel" (Heat, Floods and Tiger Mosquitoes: (Almost) Everything about Climate Change), the meteorologist takes up current discussions about climate change. She aims to provide information about current knowledge on climate change.

"Relearning to walk, taking one step at a time in a thoughtful and considered manner" is how Michaela Koschak describes dealing with climate change, which is increasingly interfering with everyday life and becoming more and more topical. The meteorologist and climate expert has been following this complex issue since 2019 and is calling for joint action. Her aim is to sensitise people to face nature with respect and reverence again. She is also looking for solutions for a climate-neutral world. She would like to enter into dialogue with her audience about this.
The event is a co-operation between the Sächsische Hans-Carl-von-Carlowitz-Gesellschaft e. V. and the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre.
