"We weekend rebels"
Reading on Saturday, 9 November, at the TIETZ
On Saturday, 9 November, Jason and Mirko von Juterczenka will be presenting their very personal book "Wir Wochenendrebellen" on the stage in the foyer of the TIETZ. The reading, organised by the city library, will take place from 6 pm to 8 pm. Admission is free. A donation in favour of the Neven Subotic Foundation is requested.
Jason is twelve, a "groundhopper" and autistic. In search of a favourite football club, father and son have been travelling to stadiums from Aue to Kiel and from Milan to Glasgow for six years. Due to Jason's rules and his very special perspective on life, they experience a variety of bizarre and amusing adventures and share them with the whole world on their blog. In 2017, Jason and his father became the youngest ever winners of the Grimme Online Award for their project. Together, they have put their experiences into book format and created a "no football book" that is well worth reading.
