We revitalise the giant
Special citizens' forum at the spinning mill on 25 April, 6 p.m.
On Wednesday, 25 April, from 6 pm, the City of Chemnitz and the Chemnitz-Mitte Citizens' Platform are organising a special citizens' forum at Spinnereimaschinenbau Altchemnitz. It is the local closing event of the EU project URBACT 2nd Chance, which aims to revitalise the large factory complex.
In a lively, vivid presentation of the results at various stations, visitors can learn interesting facts about the industrial culture, site history and current commercial developments. Guests will also have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the planned lighting concept, try out an app on the industrial history of the complex and take part in a guided tour.
The meeting and starting point for the tour and your own explorations is the foyer in Building 1 (old Boulderlounge entrance) at Altchemnitzer Straße 27.
Admission is free and snacks and drinks will be provided.
