Water theme day in the library lab
City library: hands-on offer on Saturday, 19 March, 2 to 4 pm
On Saturday, 19 March, 2 to 4 p.m., the Chemnitz City Library is organising a hands-on day for the whole family on the subject of water in its new project area BibLab Chemnitz (Chemnitz Library Laboratory) in the Central Library in the TIETZ. Admission is free.
Registration is required at www.stadtbibliothek-chemnitz.de/biblab-c/veranstaltungen. The 3G rule applies.
At various stations, visitors will learn, among other things, where their drinking water comes from. They can make sounds with the cool water and physical relationships are explained. Those interested can playfully explore the oceans, learn about the marbling technique or design bathing ducks. There will also be a reading from Jules Verne's classic "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea".
The offer is aimed at children, young people, adults and families and is organised by the BibLab- C project network.
