Wasserschloß Klaffenbach: Changed traffic routing due to construction work in the Neukirchen municipal area
Event "Schlager des Sommers" on 01.08.2014
On Friday, 01 August 2014, the music event "Schlager des Sommers" will take place in the moated castle Klaffenbach. Due to a complete closure in the Neukirchen municipal area (renewal of the drinking water pipe), access to the Klaffenbach moated castle is restricted.
Parking is available at the car park at Klaffenbach moated castle, the BayWa site on Untere Bergstraße and an area on Würschnitztalstraße, near the railway embankment (see map).
Access to the Wasserschloß Klaffenbach car park is possible via Stollberger Straße or Südring - Wolgograder Allee - Markersdorfer Straße - Am Huthholz - Untere Bergstraße - Gutsweg. Access from the Neukirchen municipal area via Bahnhofstraße is also guaranteed.
Visitors from the city of Chemnitz coming by car from Klaffenbacher Straße or Würschnitztalstraße, Chemnitzer Straße and Klaffenbacher Hauptstraße should use the car park on Würschnitztalstraße. From this car park, the moated castle Klaffenbach is within walking distance (approx. 650 m).
Please note that the Klaffenbach moated castle cannot be reached via Würschnitztalstraße. Visitors to the concert are requested to observe the designated parking facilities, the stopping restrictions and the instructions of the stewards.
